Platanos College is seeking enthusiastic trainee teachers to join our training programme for September 2020.

Platanos College is an outstanding and ambitious school with a new state-of-the-art building and ICT facilities. It is just the place for talented, ambitious individuals to develop their career and make their mark.

Following the interview process, successful candidates will be placed on a programme leading to QTS.  You must be driven and truly committed to meeting the challenging needs of inner city pupils.

Successful candidates will be paid throughout the programme and have access to outstanding coaching, teachers and managers with an excellent track record of on the ground teaching and learning, as well as leadership and management.

Platanos College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and external agencies to share this commitment. Successful candidates will be asked to apply for an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and will be checked against the DBS barred list. Appointments are subject to the receipt of satisfactory references as according to our Safer Recruitment Policy.
