Schools Minister Nick Gibb launches the National Reading Competition at our school
The Schools Minister, from the Department for Education (DfE), launched the National Reading Competition and spoke about reading at Stockwell Park High School on the 200th anniversary of the birth of one of the great novelists, Charles Dickens.
The launch was opened with wonderful speeches from our pupils.
