Subject enrichment

There are many opportunities for extra-curricular activities including various different subjects (science, maths, writing, the arts and more), and a full range of activities and competitions including maths, debating and public speaking, creative writing, music, amongst others.

Sports

Our sports provision and coaching is a major strength at the college. Competitive sports with school teams challenging other schools in football, cricket, rugby, basketball, netball, volleyball, table tennis and other sports play a big part in pupils’ lives.

We have specialist basketball coaching programme with a number of national and international achievements over the years.

Leadership

There are a range of pupil leadership opportunities across the school.

Pupils develop leadership skills through participation in a range of activities and by holding positions of responsibility, such as the School Council, Year Group Presidents, our Head Pupils, pupil ambassadors, and similar roles.

All pupils take part in House activities including, for example, committees, assemblies, competitions, Sports Day, the Business Fair and similar.
