Our Key Stage 4 GCSE results for 2019 are outlined below. Please note that this is the latest available set of published performance data for the school due to the Covid-19 pandemic (as public exams did not take place for 2020 and 2021).
Achieving Grade 4 (C)+ GCSE in English and maths
The percentage of pupils achieving the new Grade 4 (equivalent to C) or above in both English and maths was 58%.
Achieving Grade 5 (C)+ GCSE in English and maths
The percentage of pupils achieving Grade 5 or higher in both English and maths was 42%. This was broadly in line with the national average.
EBacc subjects
The majority of our pupils (62%) entered for the English Baccalaureate (academic) subjects and this is well above the local authority and national average.
Our EBacc average point score (APS) was 3.81.
Progress 8 measure
Our Progress 8 measure was -0.31.
Attainment 8 measure
Our Attainment 8 score was 42.2.
Staying in education or entering employment
The percentage of pupils staying in education or entering employment after Key Stage 4 was 89%.
