Our Heads of School

Our school is led by our two very experienced Heads of School, supported by our Executive Headteacher.

Ms T. Williams, Head of School

Ms Williams has many years of senior leadership experience and is a long-standing member of staff at Platanos College. An experienced practitioner, Ms Williams has a wealth of knowledge and expertise on school improvement, teaching and learning, curriculum, our local community, pastoral support and safeguarding amongst many other areas. She is passionate about the community that we serve and strongly believes that our pupils’ potential is limitless.

Ms A. Henry, Head of School

Ms Henry has also been a long-standing, experienced senior leader at Platanos College. Along with Ms Williams, they both believe in a strong team ethos, having worked closely together for many years. Ms Henry has a wealth of knowledge and experience in teaching and learning, curriculum, school improvement and special educational needs (SEND) as well as other areas. Ms Henry has a passion for supporting and raising the achievement of pupils with SEND needs, regardless of their starting points.
